Los Angeles Climate Week - Climate Health: Clean Energy and Environmental Justice

Are you a health professional passionate about climate action? Curious how clean energy solutions can directly improve human health—and how you can help advocate for them?

Join Climate Health Now for an engaging educational workshop exploring the connection between climate change, environmental justice, and human health. Together, we’ll discuss how clean energy and climate solutions can lead to healthier communities, why framing climate action as a public health issue is so effective, and how health professionals can play a meaningful role in advancing these solutions. We will also highlight environmental justice work In Los Angeles and how we can advocate for health equity and community-led solutions.

During this interactive session, participants will:

  • Learn about the links between climate change, air pollution, and human health

  • Explore different forms of climate and health advocacy

  • Practice communicating climate solutions through a health lens

  • Take part in a brief, impactful advocacy action

This workshop is especially relevant for those in the health sector—including clinicians, public health professionals, health administrators, students, and others working to improve community health—but all are welcome.

Come connect, learn, and take action to build healthier communities through green energy. We hope to see you there!
